Stage 3 represents a more advanced level of the SwimSafer program, where participants refine their swimming techniques and learn more complex skills. This stage focuses on perfecting stroke mechanics, enhancing endurance, and acquiring advanced water safety and rescue skills.

Key Components of Stage 3 :

  • Advanced Stroke Techniques: Participants work on perfecting their strokes, including the breaststroke and butterfly. They receive detailed instruction on improving stroke efficiency, technique, and timing.
  • Endurance and Fitness Development: Stage 3 involves rigorous training to enhance swimming endurance and overall fitness. Participants engage in challenging drills and swim longer distances to build stamina and strength.
  • Water Safety and Rescue Skills: Advanced safety skills are introduced, including basic water rescue techniques. Participants learn how to assist others in distress, perform simple rescues, and provide first aid if needed.

By the end of Stage 3, participants are expected to demonstrate advanced swimming skills, improved endurance, and a solid understanding of water safety and rescue procedures.
